Within the framework of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to information free of charge about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing and, if applicable, a right to rectification or erasure of this data. You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time for this purpose. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:

SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address bar of the browser changes from ‘http://’ to ‘https://’ and by the padlock symbol in your browser bar.
If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
Objection to advertising emails
The use of contact data published within the scope of the legal notice obligation for sending advertising and information materials that have not been expressly requested is hereby objected to. The operators of these pages expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising information being sent, for example by spam emails.
4. Data collection on this website
Cookies
Our web pages use so-called ‘cookies’. Cookies are small data packets and do not cause any damage to your device. They are stored on your device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies). Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or they are automatically deleted by your web browser.
Cookies can originate from us (first-party cookies) or from third-party companies (so-called third-party cookies). Third-party cookies enable the integration of certain services of third-party companies within web pages (e.g. cookies for handling payment services).
Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping basket function or the display of videos). Other cookies may be used to analyse user behaviour or for advertising purposes.
Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions you have requested (e.g. for the shopping basket function) or to optimise the website (e.g. cookies for measuring the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing necessary cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG); consent can be withdrawn at any time.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.
You can find out which cookies and services are used on this website in this privacy policy.
Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
This data is not merged with data from other sources.
This data is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of its website – for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded.
Enquiries by email, telephone or fax
If you contact us by email, telephone or fax, your enquiry, including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry), will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of handling your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of the enquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) if this has been requested; consent can be withdrawn at any time.
The data you send to us via contact enquiries will remain with us until you request us to delete it, withdraw your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.
5. Analysis tools and advertising
On this website, we use analysis and marketing services that are only loaded and executed after you have given your express, voluntary consent via our consent banner (consent management platform). Until then, these services and the cookies associated with them are blocked. For this purpose, we use Google Consent Mode v2 in the so-called basic mode. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the cookie settings; the lawfulness of the processing carried out until the withdrawal remains unaffected.
Google Tag Manager
We use Google Tag Manager, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter ‘Google’). The parent company is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google Tag Manager is a technical management tool with which we centrally manage and integrate website tags (e.g. tracking and marketing codes such as Google Analytics or Google Ads). It does not analyse the content of the integrated data, but when it runs, it does collect technical data such as your IP address and information on the triggering of the managed tags. This data is only processed transiently for delivery and is not permanently stored by us; the durations stated in the respective sections apply to the services loaded via the container.
Legal basis: Your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25(1) TDDDG. A legitimate interest is not applicable; loading takes place exclusively after consent has been given.
Transfer to third countries: Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. The basis for this is the adequacy decision of the European Commission of 10 July 2023 (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, Art. 45 GDPR); Google LLC is certified (dataprivacyframework.gov). In addition, and in the event that the adequacy decision ceases to apply, standard contractual clauses agreed with Google apply (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). Access by US authorities cannot be completely ruled out.
Data processing on behalf: A contract pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Google. Withdrawal / opt-out: via the cookie banner or the cookie settings; the service-specific opt-out (Analytics add-on, ad settings) is described in the following sections. Further information can be found in Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter ‘Google’); the parent company is Google LLC, USA. Information about your usage behaviour is collected (e.g. pages visited, events triggered, approximate location, device and browser) in order to analyse reach and usage and to improve our offering. Google Analytics 4 does not permanently log or store your IP address; an IP address used for data collection is processed (among other things, for rough location determination) but not permanently stored.
Legal basis: Your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25(1) TDDDG (can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future). A legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR is ruled out.
Cookies and storage period: Google Analytics 4 sets the cookies _ga (duration 2 years) and _ga_<ID> (duration 2 years). We have configured the retention period for event- and user-related data at property level to 14 months; after this period has expired, the data concerned is automatically deleted.
Transfer to third countries: as described for Google Tag Manager (EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, Art. 45 GDPR; additionally standard contractual clauses, Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).
Data processing on behalf: A contract pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Google. Withdrawal / opt-out: via the cookie banner and additionally via the browser add-on provided by Google for deactivating Google Analytics: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Google Ads (conversion tracking and remarketing)
We use Google Ads with the conversion tracking and remarketing functions, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter ‘Google’); the parent company is Google LLC, USA. With conversion tracking, we measure the success of our advertisements: after you click on an ad placed by us, a cookie is set which allows us to track whether an action defined by us (conversion, e.g. a quotation request or contact enquiry) has taken place. With remarketing, we can address you again with interest-based advertising within the Google advertising network after you have visited our website.
Legal basis: Your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with § 25(1) TDDDG (can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future).
Cookies and storage period: In connection with Google Ads, the cookies set include the conversion and linker cookies _gcl_au, _gcl_aw and _gcl_dc (duration 90 days), the advertising cookie IDE (duration approx. 13 months, limited to max. 390 days in the EEA), the cookie NID (duration approx. 6 months) and test_cookie (duration 15 minutes). The membership duration in remarketing lists can be configured in Google Ads.
Withdrawal / opt-out: via the cookie banner; you can additionally deactivate personalised advertising in Google’s ad settings at myadcenter.google.com and across providers at optout.aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.com/de.
Google Ads – call tracking via forwarding numbers
If you call the telephone number displayed in one of our Google ads, we use the ‘call reporting’ function of Google Ads. Instead of our telephone number, Google displays a forwarding number in the ad and puts the call through to us. In doing so, Google processes your telephone number, the date, time and duration of the call and the information as to whether the call was answered. From this, we receive statistics on which ads have led to calls. The content of conversations is not recorded. The telephone numbers given on our website are not forwarding numbers; calls made to them are not captured by Google.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in measuring the success of our advertising (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The recipient of the data is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; processing by Google LLC in the USA is possible. Google is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Further information: policies.google.com/privacy
